Fintech firm Kiwi banks $13m to expand UPI-linked credit card offering
India-based Kiwi has secured US$13 million in a series A funding round led by Omidyar Network India.
The fintech firm will use the fresh capital to expand its “credit on UPI,” meaning credit cards linked with the country’s Unified Payments Interface. Kiwi said it has issued 25,000 credit cards and it aims to onboard 500,000 users by the end of 2024.
