US Supreme Court denies Nvidia appeal in crypto fraud case
The United States Supreme Court has decided not to hear Nvidia’s appeal in a securities fraud lawsuit filed by shareholders.
The lawsuit alleges that the company misled investors about the extent of its revenue from the cryptocurrency market.
The justices rejected Nvidia’s appeal on Wednesday, keeping a lower court’s ruling intact that allows the 2018 class action lawsuit to proceed.
The lawsuit claims Nvidia and CEO Jensen Huang minimized their reliance on crypto sales in 2017 and 2018.
