Singtel has launched Perplexity Pro, an AI search service, in response to the growing demand for AI tools.

The service, valued at approximately S$270 (US$198,46), will be available as a one-year free subscription for Singtel’s broadband, TV, and mobile customers through an activation code in the My Singtel App.

Perplexity Pro aims to provide concise answers in conversational language with in-line citations to help reduce information overload often associated with traditional search engines.

It includes AI models from providers such as OpenAI and Anthropic, along with Singtel’s proprietary language models.

Targeting users such as working professionals and students, Perplexity Pro supports multiple languages, including English, Simplified Chinese, and Spanish.
