Robinhood expands crypto services in Singapore
Robinhood Markets Inc., a United States financial services company, plans to introduce cryptocurrency offerings in Singapore by late 2025.
This initiative will be implemented through Bitstamp Ltd., a European digital-assets exchange acquired by Robinhood for US$200 million in June 2024.
Johann Kerbrat, vice president and general manager of Robinhood Crypto, stated that the launch will occur after receiving regulatory guidance.
The exact date is yet to be finalized.
Bitstamp has received in-principle approval from the Monetary Authority of Singapore for its operations.
