OpenAI expands deep research tool for all paid ChatGPT users
OpenAI has expanded its deep research tool to all paying ChatGPT users.
This includes subscribers of the Plus, Team, Enterprise, and Edu plans, who previously did not have access to this feature reserved for Pro subscribers at a cost of US$200 per month.
Users can conduct up to 10 deep research queries monthly. Pro users will now have access to 120 deep research queries, an increase from the 100 queries offered at the feature’s launch.
Tech giants are pushing AI subscriptions, with OpenAI emphasizing further testing to refine persuasive use cases.
“Deep Research is out for ChatGPT Plus users! One of my favorite things we have ever shipped,” said Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI.
