Oman invests in Musk's xAI as part of tech strategy

The Oman Investment Authority has acquired a stake in Elon Musk’s xAI, known for its generative AI chatbot, Grok.

The size and value of the investment have not been disclosed.

This move support Oman’s strategy to integrate advanced technologies across sectors as part of its ongoing focus on reducing oil dependency and promoting innovation.

The OIA has also invested in Musk’s aerospace company, SpaceX, which has reportedly delivered a 37 percent internal rate of return.
