Ola Electric shuts down warehouses to cut costs

Ola Electric has shut down all regional warehouses in India as part of a strategy to streamline its distribution network.

The company plans to depend on its 4,000 retail stores nationwide for inventory management, spare parts, and last-mile deliveries.

This decision aims to enhance operational efficiency and increase EBITDA margins by 10 percentage points.

It is expected to generate monthly savings of approximately 30 crore rupees (US$34,35 million).

In addition to warehouse closures, Ola Electric is renegotiating agreements with vehicle registration agency partners to lower costs.
