Nazara to invest $1.8m in its subsidiary for adtech growth
Nazara Technologies has announced its intention to invest 15 crore rupees (US$1.8 million) in its subsidiary, Datawrkz, to strengthen its position in the digital advertising sector.
The gaming company announced in a stock filing that it has agreed to acquire 4,959 compulsorily convertible preference shares (CCCPS) from Bengaluru’s Datawrkz.
The transaction will occur in one or more tranches and is expected to finalize within 30 days.
Founded in 2013, Datawrkz specializes in providing advertising technology solutions to publishers, agencies, and brands.
It has operations in Bengaluru, the United States, and Singapore.
