Musk calls X ‘Twitter’ again in platform update talk
Elon Musk, who rebranded Twitter as X in 2023, referred to the platform by its original name in a post this Feb. 24.
He said, “Twitter added far more features with fewer people,” during a discussion about platform updates.
This is another instance of Musk using the old name, reflecting the platform’s lingering identity.
Musk’s comment was in response to a post praising Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), a government efficiency advisory body he leads, for efforts to reduce federal workforce numbers.
