Mober opens Philippines’ largest EV charging hub
Mober, a logistics company focused on EVs, has opened the Philippines’ largest commercial EV charging hub, Central Charge.
Covering 3,000 square meters, it features 56 charging ports, including 50 7kW DC chargers and two 60kWh fast-charging units.
The facility supports up to 200 EV trucks daily through a three-shift system, reducing vehicle downtime.
Strategically located near Metro Manila’s commercial centers, Central Charge enhances mid- and last-mile deliveries for Mober’s clients, including IKEA, Nestlé Philippines, and Maersk.
The company, which started transitioning to EVs in 2021, is also considering adding solar panels and a battery energy storage system to reduce its carbon footprint.
The new hub plays a key role in Mober’s goal of expanding its EV fleet to over 500 units by 2026. It strengthens the company’s commitment to sustainable logistics in the Philippines.
