Microsoft has launched Muse, an AI model that generates video game scenes typically made through programming or animation.
The model is based on seven years of gameplay data from Xbox’s multiplayer game Bleeding Edge and was detailed in the journal Nature.
Described as the first of its kind by Microsoft, Muse was developed with input from game developers about the need for generative AI tools.
