Meta’s head of civil rights to leave company
Roy Austin Jr., the head of Meta’s civil rights team, announced his departure from the company in a Facebook post on Friday evening.
Austin joined Meta in 2021 to establish the civil rights team, which grew to 13 members by 2023.
In his message, Austin indicated that team members will continue their work in other areas of the company.
