Meta has launched its AI-enabled chatbot, Meta AI, in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), increasing access for millions of users.

The service is now available in Algeria, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Libya, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Yemen.

With this launch, Meta AI supports the Arabic language, which enhances its accessibility for users in the region.

Users can engage with the virtual assistant by tagging @meta in conversations on platforms such as WhatsApp, Instagram, and Messenger.

The launch also includes the “Imagine Me” tool for generating stylized selfies and audio dubbing for Instagram Reels.
