Meta board adds UFC’s Dana White, cuts female presence
Meta, the parent company of Facebook, has appointed three new members to its board of directors, including UFC CEO Dana White.
This changes reduces female representation on the board from 44% in 2022 to 23% in 2025.
The board now consists of 10 men and three women, with seven of the men being billionaires, including Marc Andreessen, Tony Xu, and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg.
The move comes amid broader shifts at Meta, such as replacing policy head Nick Clegg by Republican Joel Kaplan.
Meta declined to comment on the recent board changes.
