Instagram upgrades DMs with sorting tools for creators
Instagram has introduced new updates to its Direct Messages (DMs) feature. The changes are aimed at users with a high volume of incoming messages, such as creators and influencers.
The update includes tools for sorting and filtering “message requests.”
Users can now categorize messages based on criteria like follower count, verified status, and sender type. The goal is to help users identify and prioritize significant communications.
A new “Story Replies” folder is also being added. This feature intends to improve access to story-related messages.
Instagram’s updates respond to feedback from users facing challenges in managing their DMs.
