Indian supply chain firm Zetwerk eyes IPO in 24 months, CEO says

India-based contract manufacturer Zetwerk plans to go public in the next 15 to 24 months, according to CEO and co-founder Amrit Acharya.

The company is expanding its electronics manufacturing capacity and opened its seventh facility in India on Mar. 15. This facility will be developed into an export hub targeting markets like the US.

Currently, electronics contribute 15% of Zetwerk’s revenue.

In the fiscal year ending March 2024, Zetwerk’s sales grew 26% to 144.36 billion rupees (US$1.66 billion). However, net losses rose sharply to 9.19 billion rupees (US$105.7 million) from 1.09 billion rupees (US$12.54 million)the previous year.

As geopolitical tensions reshape supply chains, Acharya emphasized that “global companies are moving production to India,” reinforcing the country’s role in electronics manufacturing.

In 2024, Zetwerk raised US$90 million at a US$3.1 billion valuation. The company plans to use these funds to further invest in its electronics division.
