Indian online pharmacy PharmEasy’s valuation drops to $456m
PharmEasy, an Indian online pharmacy, is currently valued at approximately US$456 million.
This is a significant drop from its peak valuation of US$5.6 billion, as reported after investor Janus Henderson disclosed that its 12.9 million shares in the startup were worth US$766,043.
Janus Henderson’s Global Research Fund purchased these shares for US$9.4 million, reflecting a 92% decline in value.
This decrease in valuation continues despite PharmEasy raising over US$200 million earlier this year in preparation for an IPO scheduled for 2025.
