Indian energy storage startup bags $5m series A
Pune-based energy storage solutions provider AmpereHour Energy has secured US$5 million in a series A funding round.
The investment was led by Avaana Capital, with participation from UC Impower and existing angel investors.
The funds will be allocated to scale its energy storage systems, enhance manufacturing capacity, support research and development, and expand its product portfolio.
AmpereHour Energy, founded in 2017 by IIT Bombay alumni Ayush Misra, Rahul Shelke, Harshal Thakur, and Neehar Jathar, specializes in modular and scalable battery energy storage systems (BESS).
