Indian B2B manufacturing firm Zetwerk opens new plant

B2B manufacturing startup Zetwerk has opened its seventh manufacturing facility in Chennai.

The 15-acre plant will produce control boards for appliances including washing machines, refrigerators, air conditioners, and IT hardware. It plans to employ 1,200 skilled workers at full capacity.

Union Electronics and Information Technology Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw inaugurated the facility.

During the event, he announced plans to develop electronics manufacturing clusters in Pillai Pakkam and Manallur to enhance Tamil Nadu’s position as a manufacturing hub.
