Honor sets up embodied AI labs, expands into robotics
Honor has launched a new incubation department to deepen its research in embodied AI and robotics, marking a strategic step beyond its core smartphone business.
According to Honor’s job listings, the company is setting up five labs under the new unit: the Embodied AI Lab, Embodied Data Lab, Interactive Security Lab, Powertrain Lab, and Bionic Body Research Lab.
Honor is currently hiring for several key roles to support the initiative. These include robot data generation algorithm engineers, integrated joint designers, and power system simulation engineers for robotics.
