Honor partners with Tencent on cloud, AI solutions

Tencent Holdings Ltd. and Honor Device Co. have formed a long-term strategic partnership to enhance cloud and AI development.

The collaboration will use Tencent Cloud’s infrastructure to support Honor’s online services.

Honor, a smartphone manufacturer that became an independent entity from Huawei Technologies in 2020, plans to implement Tencent’s big data analytics and search tools.

The partners also aim to co-develop a coding assistant for Honor’s software engineering teams.
