Honor to launch premium devices in Indonesia in 2025
Honor, a Chinese smartphone manufacturer, plans to enter the Indonesian market in early 2025, focusing on premium handsets, according to Justin Li, president of Honor South Pacific.
The Shenzhen-based company aims to release over 30 products throughout the year, including smartphones, wearables, foldable devices, laptops, and tablets.
Honor also plans to establish more than 10 experience stores across the country.
This expansion is part of a broader strategy by Chinese smartphone makers to grow internationally amid increasing competition within China.
Since becoming independent from Huawei Technologies in 2020, Honor is targeting Indonesia’s growing demand for mid- to high-end devices driven by its young population.
