Google’s Gemini asks contractors to rate AI beyond expertise
Google has introduced new guidelines for contractors involved in its Gemini AI project.
The revised guidelines include only two exceptions for skipping prompts: if essential information is lacking in the prompt or response, or if the content is deemed harmful.
Contractors from the outsourcing firm GlobalLogic, owned by Hitachi, are now prohibited from skipping prompts that require specialized knowledge beyond their expertise.
This change has raised concerns among some employees.
Google said it is committed to enhancing Gemini’s factual accuracy but did not address the specific concerns raised about the new policy.
