Google launches AI agent changing web user experience
Google’s DeepMind division has launched an AI agent called Project Mariner, capable of performing independent tasks on the web.
The agent, introduced on Wednesday, operates within the Chrome browser and can mimic human interactions like moving cursors, clicking buttons, and completing forms.
Currently in a testing phase, this AI tool is accessible to a limited group of users.
Google is exploring Project Mariner as a part of its Gemini AI system, which can read, summarize, and interact with web content.
