Google invests $800m in clean energy firm Intersect Power

Google, in collaboration with TPG Rise Climate and additional investors, is investing over US$800 million in clean energy developer Intersect Power.

This strategic funding round seeks to expand the availability of sustainable energy solutions.

The tech giant is also working with Intersect and TPG Rise Climate to create industrial parks.

These parks will merge gigawatts of data center capacity with new clean energy facilities.
