The Elevator Pitch International Competition (EPIC 2025) has opened its application period, which runs until Jun. 17.

Organized by the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP), the competition targets mid- to late-stage startups and offers a total funding pool of US$100 million.

This year introduces two new technology tracks: digital health tech and green tech, alongside fintech.

Finalists will pitch their ideas in a 60-second presentation during the Grand Finale at Kai Tak Cruise Terminal, Hong Kong, from Nov. 3-7.

Eligible startups must be under 10 years old and have plans to expand in Hong Kong or the Greater Bay Area.

Online pitches will take place in July, with finalists announced in August. EPIC Week will include networking sessions, business and investment matching events, and guided industry tours.

Last year, 603 startups from 47 economies participated, and organizers aim to surpass this in 2025. More details are available on the official EPIC website.
