Ex-Zomato COO launches aerospace startup LAT
Former Zomato COO, Surobhi Das, has launched LAT Aerospace, an aerospace startup focused on low-cost regional air travel.
Zomato CEO, Deepinder Goyal, has joined as a non-executive cofounder and invested US$20 million, according to the Economic Times.
LAT Aerospace is developing short takeoff and landing (STOL) aircraft with a 1,500 km range and 24-passenger capacity.
The startup, currently in stealth mode, also plans to build compact “air-stops” that require minimal airport infrastructure.
