Eli Lilly opens first biotech incubator in China
Eli Lilly has opened its first biotechnology incubator in Beijing, China.
Named the Lilly Gateway Laboratory (LGL), the incubator aims to support early-stage biotech startups by providing plug-and-play labs, shared meeting spaces, and flexible workstations. It can accommodate five to eight companies and their teams.
4B Technologies, a biotech startup focused on therapeutic innovation, is the inaugural tenant of the incubator. Eli Lilly did not disclose details regarding 4B Technologies’ tenancy or any associated investment plans.
