East Ventures and SV Investment have announced the first close of their joint fund, “East Ventures South Korea Fund in partnership with SV Investment.”

This collaboration brings together the Jakarta-based venture capital firm and the Seoul-headquartered investment firm to invest in tech startups in Southeast Asia and South Korea.

The fund, supported by investors from Korea and Indonesia, is anchored by South Korea’s state-owned Korea Development Bank (KDB).

Investments will specifically target revenue-generating startups in series A to series B stages, with commitments ranging from US$1 million to US$3 million per startup.

The fund anticipates a final close by mid-2025.
