East Ventures, a leading venture capital firm in Southeast Asia, has successfully completed its first GP-led secondary transaction with Coller Capital, a global investor in secondary markets.

This transaction provides liquidity to the limited partners of East Ventures 5 L.P. (EV5) and achieves a distributions-to-paid-in capital (DPI) ratio of approximately 2.0x.

EV5 focuses on seed and early-stage investments in Southeast Asian technology companies, with notable investments including IDN and Waresix.

The structure of this transaction features a profit participation component.

This allows limited partners to realize returns while retaining the potential for growth in the fund’s portfolio.
