China’s top 3 telecoms add DeepSeek to cloud services
China’s leading telecom operators, China Mobile, China Telecom, and China Unicom, have integrated AI models developed by DeepSeek into their services.
This decision supports the push for advanced AI technologies as announced by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on Feb.8.
China Mobile, the largest wireless carrier in China, has implemented various DeepSeek models, including DeepSeek-V1 and the latest DeepSeek-R1, on its computing platform.
China Telecom and China Unicom are also using the DeepSeek-R1 model on their respective cloud computing platforms.
