China’s Changan partners with EHang on flying cars
Changan Automobile has formed a partnership with EHang Holdings Ltd., a company focused on Urban Air Mobility (UAM) technologies, to develop flying vehicles.
This collaboration aims to produce items such as flying cars and electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft.
Changan plans to invest over US$2.74 billion in flying car development over the next five years.
Additionally, the company anticipates spending more than US$13.70 billion over the next decade on various transportation innovations.
These innovations will include air, sea, and robotics solutions, according to Changan Chairman Zhu Huarong.
