Chinese universities are integrating AI courses using technology from Hangzhou-based startup DeepSeek.

This move aligns with China’s push to advance science and technology education for economic growth.

Shenzhen University has launched an AI course featuring DeepSeek’s models, covering key technologies, security, privacy, and ethics.

Zhejiang University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and Renmin University are also incorporating DeepSeek’s AI into education and campus management.

These initiatives follow China’s national action plan, issued in January, aiming to build a high-quality education system by 2035.
