AWS genAI exec leaves to build startup
Raj Aggarwal, general manager of generative AI and revenue acceleration at Amazon Web Services (AWS), has announced his departure from the company.
He shared the news in a LinkedIn post on Mar. 19.
During his time at AWS, Aggarwal contributed to generative AI projects, including the Bedrock AI development platform and Amazon Q, a business-focused generative AI assistant.
He noted that his team’s work in generative AI led to a 4.9% increase in pipeline generation.
Aggarwal plans to return to entrepreneurship to launch a new company, although he did not disclose specific details about the venture.
