Apple offers four-day iPhone discounts in China
Apple has announced a four-day discount on select iPhone models in China from January 4 to 7, 2025.
This decision comes as the company faces heightened competition from domestic brands, including Huawei.
The discounts, available on Apple’s website, feature a price reduction of 500 yuan (US$68.50) for the flagship iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max models.
These models are priced at 7,999 yuan (US$1,119.86) and 9,999 yuan (US$1,399.86), respectively.
Older iPhone models, as well as MacBooks and iPads, are eligible for discounts between 200 (US$28) to 300 yuan (US$42).
Purchases need to be made via designated payment methods such as WeChat Pay or Alipay.
