Amazon’s Tel Aviv employees delay full return to office
Amazon employees in Tel Aviv currently follow a hybrid work schedule, attending the office three days a week, unlike the Amazon’s global policy requiring five days starting January 2, 2025.
The delay is part of a larger issue affecting over 40 locations, including Santa Clara, Austin, and Beijing, due to logical and real estate constraints. Some delays may last until May.
An Amazon spokesperson said that most of the global workforce has returned to the office full-time, with only a few offices still unprepared.
They described claims of widespread delays as “incorrect and misleading.”
Despite employee resistance in various regions, Amazon continues to support its in-office strategy, citing benefits like improved collaboration and enhanced team dynamics.
