Amazon unveils genAI-powered Alexa voice assistant
Amazon will announce new updates for its Alexa voice assistant at a New York event on Feb. 27.
These updates will integrate generative AI, allowing for a more conversational interaction with users.
This initiative, known internally as “Banyan,” aims to enhance Alexa’s functionality.
It will enable the assistant to process multiple prompts in sequence and take actions without direct commands.
The upgraded AI version of Alexa will first be available to a limited number of users in the coming weeks and months.
