Alibaba to hire 3,000 interns with focus on AI roles
Alibaba Group has announced a spring hiring campaign for 3,000 internships, with nearly half of the positions centered on AI.
The program targets students graduating between November 2025 and October 2026 and encompasses multiple business units.
About 50% of these internships are in AI, with over 80% of roles available in Alibaba Cloud, the company’s cloud computing division.
Other participating units include Alibaba Group, Tongyi Lab, Ele.me, Amap, and Lingxi.
This focus on AI talent arises amid a workforce shortage in China, driven by the increasing demand for AI across various industries.
