Alibaba Cloud opens first data center in Mexico

Alibaba Cloud, the cloud computing and AI division of Alibaba Group, has opened its first data center in Mexico.

The facility, launched on Feb. 19, adds to the company’s global network, which now includes 87 availability zones across 29 regions.

The new data center is designed to assist local businesses and promote growth in Latin America.

This initiative will involve partnerships with regional developers, customers, and other stakeholders.
