US AI fintech Sympera AI secures $10m seed funding
Sympera AI, a fintech startup, has raised US$10 million in seed funding led by Nyca Partners and Viola Ventures. The company aims to use AI to improve relationship banking for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), a segment often neglected by traditional banks.
David Sosna and Daniel Gordon co-founded the startup. Sosna has a background in banking technology and previously co-founded Personetics, while Gordon specializes in AI research.
The Sympera AI platform uses AI agents to analyze data and assist relationship managers (RMs) in identifying business opportunities.
This initiative seeks to address the inefficiencies in resource allocation for SMBs. These businesses contribute around US$150 billion annually to US banking revenue, according to McKinsey & Co.
The funding round indicates a growing interest in AI-driven financial solutions. As banks strive to enhance operational efficiency and personalize client interactions, this trend is likely to continue.
