Dropmysite partners with SingTel and Mexican web hosting company to expand reach

Dropmysite, a Singapore startup with a website backup solution, has announced today that it has signed a partnership with SingTel and Xpress Hosting, a Mexican web hosting company.

While details of the SingTel partnership are still being finalized, the startup has revealed that Xpress Holding will act as a reseller of a co-branded Dropymsite solution that will be sold to webmasters with Spanish websites.

Xpress Holding was picked as a partner because it claims to have 100,000 ‘customers’ with over 500,000 web domains in countries like Mexico and Argentina. The web hosting company will market the solution to South America, Spain, and Spanish-speaking regions in the United States like Texas and Florida.

Dropmysite has been seeking partnerships to distribute its products. It recently signed a deal with GMO Cloud in which it received funding from the Japanese company. Reselling and mobile app development are also part of the arrangement.

Dropmysite is currently available in 8 languages (including Spanish) and has offices in US, Argentina, Japan, India, Singapore.
