Early-stage tech venture capital firm Monk’s Hill Ventures today announced the appointment of Michele Daoud and Justin Nguyen as partners, effective immediately.
Monk’s Hill expects the move to widen its deal-sourcing presence in Southeast Asia and support the growth of its portfolio companies, according to a company statement.

Daoud, who is based in Singapore, becomes the first female partner at Monk’s Hill. Prior to her appointment, she supported several startups including Finaxar, ELSA, Dana Cita, Bot MD, Padlet, C88 Financial Technologies, and Ninja Van. She also previously held leadership positions in Udemy, Google, and Oliver Wyman.

Based in Vietnam, Nguyen joined Monk’s Hill in 2016 as an operating advisor. Before becoming partner at the VC firm, he helped launch three startups in China and the US.
