LGD beats CIS to qualify for The International 2014, CIS included in Play-In Series

LGD and CIS will be flying to Seattle to participate in The International Dota 2 Championships 2014 (TI4), but LGD proved that they deserved to be seeded as the fourteenth team after beating CIS 3-1 in a best-of-five series in the grand final of the Chinese qualifiers. LGD is no stranger to the pressure of the qualifiers, as they also joined The International 2013 (TI3) seeded teams by dominating the Eastern qualifiers.

CIS, on the other hand, will continue their TI4 journey as they are now included in the Play-In Series where they will compete against America’s Team Liquid, Korea’s MVP Phoenix, and the yet-to-be-determined winner of the European qualifiers. The winner of the Play-In Series will be the last team to compete the sixteen teams for this year’s International.

The Asian qualifiers are now over with only the European qualifiers left to determine who will complete the Play-In Series and who will be the fifteenth team in seeded for TI4. You can find the list of teams here while a list of English streams can be found here.
