Kata.ai co-founder joins Indonesian fintech firm Ayoconnect
Reynir Fauzan, co-founder and chief marketing officer of Indonesia-based chatbot platform Kata.ai, has joined local fintech firm Ayoconnect as vice president of marketing.

Prior to founding Kata.ai, Fauzan served as the centralized liability officer of Citi for Indonesia. He also co-founded social commerce app Styyli.
According to Kata.ai CEO Irzan Raditya, he will handle the marketing and commercial aspects of the company after Fauzan’s departure.
Ayoconnect is a financial API platform that aggregates financial data from several sources and enables its partners to offer more inclusive financial services to users. It serves more than 100 clients, including Bank Rakyat Indonesia, Dana, Bukalapak, and Pegadaian.
The company was founded in 2016 by former Lazada managing director Jakob Rost, former Times Internet product head Chiragh Kirpalani, and former OAB Studios chief software architect Adi Vora. In January this year, Ayoconnect raised US$15 million in a series B funding round led by Tiger Global.
