Last week, my colleague Jonathan talked about the Middle East garnering global attention and its startup scene being on the rise.

Well, momentum is building this week. Of the five biggest deals on our list, three companies come from the region, tackling everything from AI security to logistics.

It’s a varied bunch, but their inclusion is a sign that the Middle East could be the next big thing to watch – and that the next major players in tech could come from the region. That’s pretty exciting.

The biggest deals by market

🇮🇱 Noma Security is an Israeli startup focused on addressing security risks in AI-based applications and autonomous agents. It has raised US$100 million in series B money from Evolution Equity Partners.

🇦🇪 Based in the United Arab Emirates, Alaan provides finance software designed for businesses in the Middle East. It has secured US$48 million in a series A round from 468 Capital, 885 Capital, Peak XV Partners, Pioneer Fund, and Y Combinator.

🇨🇳 China’s Yunta Electronics is an integrated circuit developer. It has scored US$41.7 million in a series B round from Anhui State-owned Capital Operation Holding Group and Tatfook.
