Fans climb 5,000m up the Himalayas to celebrate World of Warplanes launch

Seven World of Warplanes fanatics climbed some 5,000m up the Himalayas to celebrate the official launch of Wargaming’s aerial combat MMO action game.

While it wasn’t the first time the group had scaled mountains together, the expedition had still been “an amazing and special journey” for them, said team leader Arseniy Gerasimenko. They even had time for some World of Warplanes on the way up. A World of Warplanes flag was planted on one of the peaks as well.

Ah well. You can take the man out of the game, but you certainly can’t take the game out of the man. Kudos to the team for making it all the way up there!
