On Pornhub, a teacher goes hard on math problems

Adult-video streaming platform Pornhub features lots of kinks, and teacher fantasy is one of them. A clip usually starts with a lesson before the learning session goes south. But having an Asian mathematician on the site solve calculus without stripping down in the process does not compute.

That’s what Chang-Hsu from Taiwan, also known changhsumath666, does on Pornhub, though. He breaks down college and high school-level mathematical methods and theorems in an online space where you least expect it.

In a recent Ask Me Anything on Reddit, the college math teacher shared some insights on why he chose an unusual platform for his study content.

“We like to be special and impressive. Moreover, education shouldn’t be that traditional! Learning can be everywhere,” said Chang-Hsu.

His first video on Pornhub two years ago was around 3 minutes long and had the stepmom, MILF, and anime in the title. Now he has 2.2 million views with more than 9,000 subscribers, and over 300 free videos along with 270 paid videos worth US$0.99 each.

“There are plenty of students [who] really study it. Some even asked me to be their tutor, and some also said they did great on their test watching it,” said Chang-Hsu, referring to his videos. While his content is mostly in Chinese, he has received requests to produce videos in English.

Since his viewers are above 18 years old, being on a porn platform makes sense for him. But Chang-Hsu is also on YouTube with nearly 10 million views and on TikTok with almost 27,000 followers to drive traffic to his website.

When Redditors asked which platform brings in more money, Pornhub or YouTube, he said the numbers are almost the same. His income “mostly” comes from his website, where his online courses are sold.

While this mathematician’s case is unusual, it is not the first time that the platform featured non-porn content. Ryan Creamer, dubbed as Pornhub’s most wholesome creator, produced sweet point-of-view dating videos for two years. Pornhub also had pirated full-length movies and sports videos at one point before it took down uploads from unverified accounts.

As for Chang-Hsu, his videos have recently embraced naughtiness. His team has also brought in known adult entertainers to collaborate on some content. But he claims his channel will never see him strip down.

“I know I am a Pornhub content creator, but I would never do any porn video since that’s not my goal,” he said. “So if you see any porn video involving me, that must be deep fake.”
