IPO-bound Good Glamm launches POPxo line of beauty products
- POPxo, a digital community for millennial women, has made a foray into the beauty space by launching a line of makeup kits made by MyGlamm. POPxo and MyGlamm are part of The Good Glamm Group.
- POPxo intends for the makeup line to hit a revenue run rate of US$13.5 million in the next 12 months.
- Founded in 2014, POPxo engages 60 million active users (MAUs) every month, according to data available as of July. The unit aims to have 100 million MAUs by the end of March 2022. Meanwhile, Good Glamm is looking to list on the Indian stock exchange in the fiscal years 2023 or 2024.
Healthtech firm MEDdelivery bags US$1 million in latest round
- The business-to-business healthtech firm raised US$1 million from Auxano Entrepreneur Trust, Lets Venture, Kisho Capital, Venture Garage, Faad Network, and angel investors.
- The company said it was making over 480 million rupees (US$6.4 million) in annualized gross merchandise volume, with a daily average order size of 5,000 rupees to 15,000 rupees (US$67.5 to US$202.4). The firm has a catalog of over 1 million stock-keeping units from more than 10,000 different pharmaceutical brands.
- Founded in 2019, MEDdelivery operates in over eight Indian cities, where more than 3,000 retail pharmacies use the platform. The company plans to expand its presence to over 100 non-metro cities within the next 18-24 months.
