In brief: Alibaba veteran launches $200m Southeast Asia-focused fund
Venture capital fund ATM Capital announced the completion of the first phase of fundraising, with a total fund size of US$200 million. The fund was established by Tony Qu, a founding partner of Bat Capital and former strategic investment director at Alibaba. After the fundraising is completed, ATM Capital will focus on entrepreneurial projects in logistics, retail, financial technology, and industrial internet in Southeast Asia as well as help Chinese companies to land in the region.
