Indian healthtech startup injected $61m in fresh funds

Redcliffe Lifetech, an India-based diagnostics platform, has raised US$61 million in a series B round led by LeapFrog Investments.

The investment will be used to expand Redcliffe Lifetech’s geographic reach across India, with a focus on expanding its direct-to-consumer diagnostics network. The company will also use the funds to add more product offerings such as radiology, disease data profiling, and lifestyle management.

Redcliffe Lifetech offers more than 3,500 different pathology and specialized tests, including genetics, at affordable prices. The firm runs 22 labs across 14 cities in India.

“This investment will help us scale rapidly to achieve our goal to reach 500 million Indians within the next five years,” said Dheeraj Jain, founder of Redcliffe Lifetech.
